The Children’s Ark has begun working on a significant project, which is to relocate and reconstruct the entire Surgical Ward, including the Operating Theatre and the Dental Suite, at the Princess Elizabeth Home for challenged children and those needing urgent surgery.  The project should take about six months to complete.

Over the years the Home has experienced tremendous flooding during the rainy season, where the loss of equipment, time and manpower has disrupted the daily routine and surgery. Although several measures were put in place to prevent flooding, the relocation and reconstruction of the entire Surgical Ward will alleviate the problem of destruction and damage to this Medical Ward.

This project comes at an approximate cost of $2 million to The Children’s Ark.

In September House of Jaipur partnered with TCA and contributed ALL proceeds from it’s magical, Bollywood Dreams event to The Children’s Ark for this project.

Brian MacFarlane’s ( “ Christmas Joy The Gift of the Drum” ) magnificent Broadway-style show will also partner with TCA and give proceeds from his gala/premiere night to The Children’s Ark for this project.

We invite other organisations to partner with TCA on this noteworthy project.
